Marvel movies are all the rage right now thanks to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but not all Marvel films exist within the MCU. Fox owns the rights to the X-Men film universe, and if you were hoping to see them work out a deal with Marvel Studios that would allow them to share characters from the X-Men, then you’re going to be sorely disappointed.

Fox has big plans for characters such as the X-Men and Deadpool, and the studio will be releasing six Marvel movies over the next four years. Exhibitor Relations is reporting that Fox has set released dates for 6 unknown Marvel projects on 6/7/19, 11/22/19, 3/13/20, 6/26/20, 10/2/20 and 3/5/21.
Exhibitor Relations posted the following:
Fox is all-in with Marvel setting new dates for UNTITLED FOX MARVEL flicks: 6/7/19, 11/22/19, 3/13/20, 6/26/20,10/2/20 & 3/5/21.

So what could these movies be? Well “Deadpool 3” is pretty much a lock, so there’s one. It’s also been all but officially confirmed that Fox will be making a X-Force movie, so that makes two.
“Gambit” is still in the works, so that explains three of the release dates. It’s likely that two of the other three will be more X-Men sequels, with a likely “New Mutants” sequel if the movie does well.
Of course it’s also possible that Fox will try to resurrect the Fantastic Four once again, as it was recently rumored that the studio may try to go the kid-friendly route next time around.
