“Deadpool” was all the rage when the film hit theaters earlier this year, and it managed to make big money at the box office to the tune of $786.2 million dollars. Lately “Deadpool 2” has been a hot topic, because director Tim Miller dropped out of the film due to creative differences, and composer Junkie XL followed Miller out the door.

It remains to be seen who will end up sitting in the director’s chair for “Deadpool 2” but so far “John Wick” director David Leitch seems to be the favorite. Although “Deadpool 2” doesn’t have a director, a composer or a star confirmed for the role of Cable yet, Fox is already reportedly planning for a third film.
According to THR, Fox is already planning “Deadpool 3” and readying a filmmaker search to get a storyline together. Their sources claim that the storyline for “Deadpool 3” will include X-Force.
This isn’t the first time X-Force has come up this year in regards to a possible appearance on the big screen. Earlier this year Ryan Reynolds noted during an interview that he’s making X-Force a priority.
“There’s so much material to mine in just the X-Men universe. In the future, if we’re doing a bunch more ‘Deadpool’ movies, we’re really going to explore the X-Men a lot. We’ll see. And maybe X-Force, X-Force is my priority. I really want to get that in.”
As far as “Gambit” goes the film was put on hold so that Channing Tatum could work on another film, but it’s believed that the movie will move back into active development soon.
