At the beginning of “The Flash” season 4, Barry Allen unknowingly created a group of metahumans when he escaped the Speed Force, and they’ve been slowly introduced, mostly as villains.
Deadline is reporting that we’re set to meet another metahuman in next week’s midseason finale titled “Don’t Run” and he will be played by Kendrick Sampson.
According to the report, Sampson will be a villain and he’ll be playing Dominic Lanse aka Brainstorm. It doesn’t sound like he’s just going to be joining the show for a villain of the week type episode, as the report notes that he’s signed on for a multi-episode story arc.
Dominic is described as, “an affable TSA Agent who becomes the unwitting recipient of meta-human powers. Now Dominic bears the gift and curse of reading people’s thoughts, whether he wants to or not. His character will be introduced in the winter finale.”
“Don’t Run” will air on the CW next Tuesday, and you can check out the trailer below.
“Amunet (guest star Katie Sackhoff) kidnaps Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and puts meta-dampener handcuffs on her to keep her from turning into Killer Frost. Amunet tells Caitlin she needs her to perform a tricky medical task and if Caitlin fails, Amunet will kill her. Meanwhile, The Thinker (guest star Neil Sandilands) traps The Flash (Grant Gustin) in a speedster-proof prison. With the clock ticking, The Team doesn’t have the time or resources to track both Caitlin and Barry so Iris (Candice Patton) is forced to choose who to save.”
