It looks like “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” will begin filming soon, as it’s been announced that Simon Kinberg will direct, and it looks like the set is now being put together. The first photo from the “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” set has surfaced online, and it shows what’s believed to be the outside of the Danger Room.

Another indication that cameras will begin rolling soon is that Sophie Turner has arrived in Montreal where the film is set to shoot. Turner was one of the stars of “X-Men: Apocalypse” where she took over the role of young Jean Grey.
The Phoenix Force was teased near the end of the film, and Turner will have a much bigger role this time around as the film is set to focus on the iconic “Dark Phoenix” storyline.
Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Alexandra Shipp, Tye Sheridan, and Kodi Smit-McPhee were all recently confirmed for the film, and Jessica Chastain is also reportedly in talks to join the film as Shi’ar Empress Lilandra.
