Felicity has been a valuable asset to Team Arrow since season 1, and she’s found herself in some interesting situations over the years. At one point Felicity was the owner of Palmer Tech, but Palmer Tech isn’t doing so well nowadays, so she isn’t exactly swimming in money.
“Arrow” season 6 is only a few episodes deep, but it’s become clear that Felicity and Curtis are going to be launching a company in the weeks to come, they just aren’t quite sure what they’re doing yet.
Felicity has big goals for her new company, and Emily Bett Rickards recently told EW that her plans will become more clear around episode 5.
“It’s going to be Curtis and her working together and hopefully bringing tech into the world that can aid society in a better way,” Emily Bett Rickards tells me. “That’s Felicity’s goal. She has trouble trying to think of what necessarily they’re going to invent to kick off the company, but she figures it out around episode 5-ish.”
During last year’s crossover there fans were teased with the Smoak Technologies building when various members of Team Arrow appeared in a shared hallucination that was created by the Dominators.
Perhaps Smoak Technologies will finally become a reality in season 6.
