Fans have only seen a glimpse of Ezra Miller’s Flash in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Suicide Squad” but they’ll be seeing a lot more of him when “Justice League” arrives in theaters in November.
One thing fans won’t be seeing is The Flash suit pop out of a ring, as Ezra Miller confirmed during a recent interview with EW.
“Well, you know, look,” says Miller. “I can confirm, spoiler alert, his suit does not pop out of his ring [in the movie]. Things have to progress, you know? Original Barry Allen was clearly an incredibly, incredibly clever scientist. We acknowledge and respect that.” He adds, playfully, “We want to apologize to the fans who are mad about the ring thing.”
It’s important to remember that Ezra Miller’s Flash is still going through his origin phase, but Miller told fans to hang in there because there will be other cool things in the film.
“I know the ring is the coolest thing about the DC universe,” he says. “It was a little hard for us to sell in this version of this universe right now. Bear with us! There’s gonna be other cool things.”
So there you have it folks, no ring in “Justice League” but don’t lose hope because “Flashpoint” is only a few years away.
“Justice League” will open in theaters on November 17, 2017.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s (Henry Cavill) selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash — it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
