Dwayne Johnson’s Schedule Is Holding Up Plans For G.I. Joe 3

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently knocked Robert Downey Jr. out of the top spot to become the highest paid actor in the world. Johnson earned $64.5 million over the past year, but to make that kind of money, you’ve got to work for it.

There’s no denying that The Rock is one of, if not the hardest working man in Hollywood. The Rock holds down an intense schedule, and he recently revealed on Twitter that he’s pretty much booked up straight through August of 2017.

A few years ago The Rock signed on to play Roadblock in “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” but since the film’s release things have been quiet in regards to a possible third G.I. Joe film.

LRM recently spoke with actor Byung-Hun-Lee at the Toronto International Film Festival, and he noted that the studio is trying to set dates for the next film, but the dates are being arranged to fit Dwayne Johnson’s schedule.

“I heard from the studio that there’s a possibility to do the third one, but I think they’re waiting for the actors’ schedules. They’re arranging the schedules for the actors, especially Dwayne Johnson.”

Like I said, The Rock is one of the busiest actors in Hollywood, and he shows no signs of slowing down.

Next year The Rock will be starring in films such as “Fast and Furious 8,” “Baywatch,” “Jumanji” and more.
