Diggle Becomes The Arrow, Deathstroke Returns, And More From Arrow’s 100th Episode

The four way “Arrowverse” crossover continued on Wednesday, and “Arrow” celebrated its 100th episode. Before the episode aired it was being described as a love letter to the series, and that certainly proved to be an accurate description.

During Tuesday’s episode of “The Flash” the heroes battled the Dominators, and at the end of the episode Green Arrow, White Canary, The Atom, Speedy and Spartan were all abducted.

After being abducted the heroes were put into some kind of stasis, and they all entered a shared hallucination. Oliver Queen got a glimpse of a perfect life where he was set to marry Dinah Laurel Lance, and his family was still alive, but something seemed off.

While out for a walk with his father, Oliver saw a Smoake Technologies building, and he his dad were held at gunpoint. Oliver stood up to the mugger, and they were then rescued by the Arrow. Oliver kept having memory flashes which led him to Team Arrow’s lair in this alternate reality, where he confronted the Arrow and Felicity. Oliver told the Arrow that he knows he’s John Diggle. The Arrow told Oliver to get lost, and go enjoy his perfect life.

Later in the show Diggle showed up at Oliver’s house and told him that he’s been having memory flashes too. They figured out that they were just being manipulated by the Dominators, and they broke the news to everyone else. Unfortunately Thea didn’t want to leave. Oliver tried to talk her out of staying, but he eventually said his goodbyes and told her he loved her.

As the heroes tried to escape the hallucination, they were confronted by manifestations from their memories. Thea changed her mind and joined the group, and they fought Deathstroke, Malcolm Merlyn, Damien Darhk, and some of Darhk’s Ghosts. They defeated the manifestations, left the Queen mansion and headed for Star City.

Earlier in the episode Oliver saw a Smoak Technologies building, and he decided that it didn’t belong. They traveled there and found a portal back to the ship they were on. Before stepping back into the portal Oliver looked back to see holograms of Laurel, Felicity, his parents, Roy Harper and Tommy Merlyn.

After breaking free of their stasis, Oliver, Thea, Sara, Diggle and Ray commandeered an alien ship and made their way into outer space. They were then chased by the Dominators, and Nate Heywood rescued them with the Waverider, setting up part four which will conclude the crossover in DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow.”
