“Captain America: Civil War” featured a lot of characters and somehow the Russo Brothers managed to give all of them their due. The final lineup in the film is impressive without a doubt, but as with most films, there were a lot of ideas and concepts that didn’t make it into the movie. Mr. Sunday Movies has put together a nice video which takes a look at all the things that were left out of the movie.
Some of the ideas that were pitched for the film included Tony Stark and Pepper Potts breaking up on screen, a post-credits scene for the Hulk and a scene focused on Scott Lang’s personal life. It’s noted that that the shooting script didn’t differ much from the final movie so there weren’t many deleted scenes. But one of the deleted scenes featured a fight between Black Widow and there were also some jokes and action shots cut out of the airport battle.
