“Arrow” season 5 is set to wrap up next week, and the show has already been confirmed to return in the fall. Not many shows make it to season 6, but “Arrow” is one of the lucky ones.

“Arrow” might not be the crown jewel of the CW’s lineup nowadays, as “The Flash” has taken the lead in the ratings for DC shows on the network, but the Emerald Archer is still the one who started it all, and it all started on Wednesday nights.

For the past 5 years “Arrow” has been airing on Wednesday nights, but in the fall when the show returns it will be moving to Thursday nights where it will air after “Supernatural” at 9 pm.

It’s truly the end of an era for “Arrow” and it might take some fans a little while to get used to the change
