“Arrow” is now on a break for the next few weeks, and when the show returns in April it will be wrapping up season 5. There aren’t too many episodes left for the current season, but executive producer Marc Guggenheim recently revealed that we’ll be seeing “a good amount” of characters return in the season finale.

It remains to be seen which characters will end up returning in the finale, but co-showrunner Wendy Mericle recently spoke to TV Line and she revealed that Thea Queen will be back for the last 3 episodes.

“Thea is the daughter of sociopaths, which is one of the biggest challenges any human being can really face,” co-showrunner Wendy Mericle said, “so she’s going to grappling with that and trying to understand: What is this in her that makes her so kind of Moira-esque, and how is she going to manage it? Ultimately, she and Oliver are going to come to the same conclusion about how to do that, by the finale.”

Willa Holland unfortunately wasn’t contracted for every episode of “Arrow” season 5, so she has been popping in and out of the show all season long. The last time we saw her she had resigned from her job at the mayor’s office after she showed of some of her more “Moira-esque” tendencies.

Although Thea hasn’t been a part of the show for the entirety of the current season, her story arc has undoubtedly been one of the most intriguing, so it should be interesting to see where it goes from here.

“Arrow” will return with “Dangerous Liaisons” on April 26th.
