The glow from “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is still very, very fresh. But soon enough we’ll all be boarding the hype train for “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” which is set to be released in December. The film focuses on a team of rebels and their mission to steal the plans for the Death Star. Considering the film takes place before “A New Hope” we can expect to see some familiar faces.
According to MakingStarWars.net, one of the familiar faces (Or should we say mask?) we’ll be seeing in the film belongs to Darth Vader. Their report mentions that the “Darth Vader Dream Team” has been assembled and that they’ve created a Vader costume that is very close to the original.
The report goes on to mention that not only is the classic costume returning, but that James Earl Jones will be returning to voice the character as well. It’s believed Vader will be played by a new actor, whose identity is unknown at this point. Rumors suggest that Vader will be a prominent threat to the heroes.
Please keep in mind that this is just a rumor, but given the timeline of the film it’s certainly not hard to believe. Also, considering the fact that Disney is likely going to release a new “Star Wars” film from now until the end of time, we’ll probably be seeing more of Darth Vader on the big screen in the not too distant future.
