Latino Review recently reported that Ben Affleck will both star in and direct a Batman solo film titled “The Batman” and now Deadline is taking things one step further by naming a writer. They’re reporting that DC’s Geoff Johns who has worked on TV shows such as “Arrow” and “The Flash” as well as several memorable comic books for DC will be co-writing the film with Ben Affleck.
According to their sources the two are “well in synch and have more than found their rhythm.” The movie would focus on Affleck’s Batman after the events of the first Justice League film which is set to be released on November 17, 2017. No word on when the film might be released but the report mentions that Ben Affleck and Geoff Johns will likely turn in the script before summer ends.
