“The Flash” uses multiple directors, and Kevin Smith just so happens to be one of the directors who has steered the ship for a few episodes of the show in the past. Smith directed the season 2 episode “The Runaway Dinosaur” and he later returned to direct “Killer Frost” in season 3.
Fans who have enjoyed Smith’s work on the series will be happy to know that he’s back, and he’s already putting together a new episode.
Smith recently teased fans by sharing a photo of the script on Twitter, but he also mentioned that the episode is still without a title.

With the metahuman cuffs being featured in the photo it looks like someone could be getting arrested in the episode, but who that might be remains to be seen.
At the moment Barry Allen is serving time in prison for the murder of Clifford DeVoe, so it would be kind of hard to arrest him. Hopefully one way or another Barry won’t still be locke dup in Iron Heights by the time Kevin Smith’s episode airs.
