“Arrow” star Stephen Amell is no stranger to the world of professional wrestling. Amell is a lifelong wrestling fan, and he got to make one of his dreams come true when he wrestled a match at WWE SummerSlam in 2015.
Amell teamed up with Neville to take on Stardust and King Barrett, and he won his debut match.
Stephen Amell and ROH World Champion Cody Rhodes have become good friends over the past few years, and even though they’ve only faced off in the ring once, they’ve battled on Amell’s turf twice now as Cody appeared in “Arrow” season 5 as a villain named Derek Sampson.
Now Amell has announced that he will be appearing at the upcoming Ring of Honor event in San Antonio, TX, on November 17. It’s not clear at this point if he’ll be wrestling a match at the event, but the promotional picture teases that Amell will “invade” San Antonio.

So far Stephen Amell is 1-0 in his professional wrestling career, and over the summer at Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in London he said that he wants to get back in the ring one more time.
“I would love to do something with wrestling again. I don’t know what that’s going to be. I think being with WWE would be really cool. I think that Cody who I worked with is doing such great stuff with Ring of Honor and New Japan. That would be cool. Um, but I need to get back to the ring one more time.”
Amell didn’t post a caption with the photo, so his intentions for the ROH event aren’t clear at this time, but it seems that we’ll be learning more about what’s next for him on Friday, November 17.
