“The Flash” finally returned Tuesday night, and all is well in Central City. It was clear from the very first episode of season 4 that fans are going to be seeing a lighter tone this season, and Barry Allen also got a brand new suit which is brighter than the previous version he was using.

The suit is brighter, and it incorporates more gold, but there are some other big changes that were made to the suit as well. In the trailer for next week’s episode titled “Mixed Signals” Cisco reveals that he built in self-repairing armor, nano liquid circuitry, full spectrum scanning, and the suit can also turn into a raft.
