Just a fair warning in case you missed the headline, this post contains spoilers for not only “Avengers 4” but “Spider-Man: Homecoming” as well.
Next year “Avengers: Infinity War” is set to hit theaters, and “Infinity War” is arguably the most anticipated Marvel movie of all time. The heroes of the MCU will come together to battle Thanos, and whoever survives will be facing even more challenges in “Avengers 4” which is currently filming, and it looks like the film will resolve a big cliffhanger from “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”
At the end of “Homecoming” Peter Parker made his way to Avengers HQ in upstate New York, and Tony Stark offered him not only a new suit, but a spot on the team. Stark told Parker that he had 50 reporters waiting in the next room, but Peter turned him down.
After Peter left, Pepper Potts walked through the door and asked what she should tell the reporters. Happy then tossed an engagement ring at Tony, and they teased that Tony Stark and Pepper Potts were about to announce their engagement.
Whether they announced their engagement at the press conference or not is unclear, but some new photos from the “Avengers 4” set have surfaced online and they show Pepper wearing an engagement ring.
It appears that the happy couple did decide to get engaged, and Tony Stark is off the market. But it looks like the photos are from a somber scene, as Pepper appears to be saying goodbye to Tony.
