“Deadpool 2” is a film that fans have been expecting to see released in 2018, and everyone’s been patiently awaiting an announcement regarding the release date. It’s kind of hard to set a release date for a film that’s set to feature Cable when you don’t know who the actor playing Cable is going to be. But luckily that problem was recently solved and it was announced that Josh Brolin will be playing Cable in “Deadpool 2.”
Now Fox has announced the release date for not only “Deadpool 2” but two other films set in the X-Men universe as well. “New Mutants” is set to be released on April 13, 2018, “Deadpool 2” will be released on June 1, 2018 and “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” will be released on November 2, 2018.
It’s been rumored for some time now that the next film in the X-Men saga would adapt the Dark Phoenix storyline and now that rumor has obviously been confirmed thanks to the title of the movie.
2018 is shaping up to be a huge year for the X-Men film universe and 2017 is obviously going to be a busy one for all of the cast and crew involved with the films.
