“Wonder Woman” is currently in theaters and it’s doing well at the box office while receiving rave reviews from fans and critics alike. The film is the most well received DC movie in years, and one of the things that made it so great was the chemistry between Gal Gadot and Chris Pine.

Gadot and Pine really worked well together, and watching their characters get familiar with each other was very entertaining. One of the funniest scenes in the film was without a doubt the boat scene where Steve Trevor was explaining the male anatomy to Diana Prince, and during a recent Reddit AMA, “Wonder Woman” director Patty Jenkins says that some of Pine’s most memorable lines were improvised on the spot.

“There was plenty of improvising. Great lines arrived every day, and particularly the boat scene, Chris Pine’s entire riff about not being an “average” man was improvised on the spot – as were many other great moments. I encourage humor all the time!”

Before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, Diana meets an American pilot (Chris Pine) who tells her about the massive conflict that’s raging in the outside world. Convinced that she can stop the threat, Diana leaves her home for the first time. Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny.
