“The Flash” will be returning for season 5 in the fall, and it looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of two characters who had big roles in season 4.
It was recently announced that Danielle Nicolet, who plays Cecile Horton, has been upgraded to series regular, and now Deadline is reporting that Jessica Parker Kennedy, who plays Iris and Barry’s daughter Nora, will also be upgraded to series regular status.
Nora made her “Arrowverse” debut in the “Crisis On Earth-X” crossover last year, and in “The Flash” season finale she revealed her true identity to her parents when she told them that she’s their time traveling daughter from the future.
In the finale, Nora helped Barry destroy DeVoe’s satellite, but after she revealed her identity she also told her parents that she had made a big mistake.
“The Flash” mostly stayed away from the topic of time travel in season 4, as it was the central focus of season 3, but it’s probably safe to say that time travel will have a big role to play in season 5.
“The Flash” will return for a new season on the CW in the fall.
