The weekend isn’t even over yet and people are already talking about the “Deadpool” sequel. That’s mostly thanks to the awesome post-credits scene featured in the film which confirms that Cable will be joining the cast of characters next time around.

Deadpool made the big announcement himself during the post-credits scene but he also noted that as of right now they have no idea who’s going to play him. Well at least one actor is campaigning for the role pretty hard on social media and that actor is Steven Lang.

“Let’s lay some CABLE. You know I want it. This is pre-training. Thanks for spreading the word.” Lang posted on Twitter.

He’s also retweeting positive messages from fans who also want to see him in the role. Many fans have posted pictures of Lang side by side with Cable and one thing’s for sure, he certainly looks the part.
