Deadpool Director Tim Miller Signs On To Produce Sonic The Hedgehog Movie

Last week Tim Miller parted ways with the production of “Deadpool 2” due to creative differences, and Ryan Reynolds and company are currently searching for someone to fill the role.

As the search continues, former director Tim Miller has been confirmed for a new project that focuses on a very different character. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Tim Miller will be working as the executive producer on Sony’s upcoming “Sonic the Hedgehog” movie.

Miller will be working with Blur Studio collaborator Jeff Fowler, who will be directing the film. Neal H. Moritz (Fast and Furious) is also attached as a producer.

The movie will be a CGI/live action hybrid, and it’s being described as a family movie. The script will be written by Patrick Casey and Josh Miller who created “Golan the Insatiable.”
