“They are filming (Justice League) now, and I jump in from August,” Eisenberg said.

Eisenberg admitted that he honestly doesn’t know much about the plot of “Justice League” but he expressed a lot of love for Lex Luthor and the cast he worked with on “Batman V Superman.”

“The character I play is so unusual and complicated. As an actor he’s everything you’d want to do. It’s very exciting for me to play that role. And, secondarily, it’s interesting to be in these massive, high-profile movies, because all the stuff around you as an actor is really good. You’re also acting with incredible actors. In the last movie I had lots of scenes with Holly Hunter, who has been one of my favourite actors since I was young. This all exists because this movie is so massive that they attract so many talented people, even in smaller positions. It was really special to me.”

Warner Bros. has already released a deleted scene from “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and it shows some pretty intense footage. In the movie Lex Luthor boards the Kryptonian ship from “Man of Steel” and asks for a history lesson. The deleted scene shows Lex on the ship, being approached by soldiers when something interesting happens.

The clip then shows what looks like Steppenwolf, a character from the comics who is closely associated with the villain Darkseid. It also shows what appear to be three Mother Boxes which are small portable supercomputers created by the New Gods.

At the end of the film Batman visits Lex Luthor in prison and Lex tells him that “He’s hungry and he’s coming.” The “he” in question is presumed to be Darkseid. This scene seems to fill in the blanks a little bit in regards to how Lex is aware of the bigger threat heading towards Earth.

The “Batman v Superman: Ultimate Cut” will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on July 16. The release will feature more deleted scenes showing over 30 minutes worth of footage that wasn’t in the theatrical release.

Entertainment Weekly revealed some new details about villain’s plan (spoilers ahead) and it looks like he’s going to sacrifice many lives in the film. It’s noted that Luthor orchestrates a mass murder of some kind that will ignite the conflict between Batman and Superman.

Fans have also suspected that Lex Luthor will be revealed as the one that creates Doomsday and that was also confirmed. According to the article Luthor will use some “krytptonian relics” and part of General Zod to bring Doomsday to life.

EW also released two new covers for the “Batman v Superman” issue. One of which features Ben Affleck as Batman and another that features Henry Cavill as Superman. You can check them both out below.
