The season 4 premiere will be titled “The Flash Reborn” and many fans have been wondering if Wally West will be trading in his yellow suit for a red one. Keiynan Lonsdale recently downplayed the rumors, and Candice Patton did as well, but sooner or later the truth comes out.

New photos from “The Flash” set have surfaced online, and they show Wally West wearing The Flash suit.

So unless the scene in the photos above happens to take place on an alternate Earth where Wally West is already The Flash, it looks like Wally West will indeed become The Flash on Earth-1.

With Barry gone fans are wondering if Wally West might be trading in his yellow suit for a red one, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to be happening right away. Newsweek asked Keiynan Lonsdale about possibly making the switch, and he said that Wally still has some growing to do.

“It’s not something that’s on my radar,” Lonsdale told Newsweek. “I feel as though there is so much story to tell and Wally has so much growing to do. I’d like to see that journey continue. That’s what I think is important. We need to see how these character realistically get to where they are headed for.”

Everyone’s wondering how the show will address Barry’s absence when season 4 premieres, but it seems that Kid Flash won’t be picking up the mantle of The Flash anytime soon.

Next week’s episode will introduce Abra Kadabra, who knows the truth about Savitar’s identity. It will also be an intense episode for Caitlyn Snow as it’s been revealed that she gets injured in the episode.

During the mid-season finale, Barry Allen accidentally traveled to the future and saw the death of his beloved Iris West. Now Barry is trying to use his knowledge of the future to change the timeline, and his efforts will bring him face to face with Plunder.

While he was in the future Barry Allen saw a news report showing that Plunder had been captured by The Flash and thrown in jail. The CW has released a new clip from tonight’s episode and it shows Barry’s confrontation with Plunder, and it’s obvious that Barry is apprehensive when it comes to delivering the villain to the police, because that would mean the future would be one step closer to coming true.

Barry hesitates to capture Plunder, and his mistake almost costs him his life before Kid Flash makes the save and introduces himself to the citizens of Central City. Check it out below.

BARRY FIGHTS FOR IRIS — Barry (Grant Gustin) is tormented by his vision of the future where Iris (Candice Patton) is murdered by Savitar. When a criminal named Plunder (guest star Stephen Huszar) shows up in Central City, Barry recalls the villain’s presence in his vision of the future and fears that if he catches Plunder, it will cement Iris’ fate. Confused about Barry’s hesitation to stop Plunder, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) decides to step in as Kid Flash. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) offers Julian (Tom Felton) a job.

In the latest clip from the winter premiere of “The Flash” titled “Borrowing Problems From The Future,” Barry gets confrontational with Wally West, and he goes full Oliver Queen on him. Flash comes down on Kid Flash pretty hard, and he basically tells him that he needs to know his role.

It doesn’t look like this Flash/Kid Flash partnership is going to get off to a smooth start, and you can check out the clip below.

The episode kicked off with Barry Allen living the good life. In the “Flashpoint” universe Barry Allen’s parents were still alive, and Wally West was Kid Flash. A few minutes into the episode, Barry saw a fight between The Rival and Kid Flash, and he went to assist, but when he arrived at the scene he was happy to let Wally do the heavy lifting. The Rival threw lightning in Barry’s direction and Wally West saved him.

Three months had passed between the season 2 finale, and the season 3 premiere, and Barry Allen was starting to lose his memories. He locked the Reverse-Flash up, and Eobard Thawne warned Barry that he was running out of time, and told him that eventually he would beg him to kill his mother again.

For months Barry had been watching Iris from the sidelines, and in “Flashpoint” he finally got the courage to ask her out. However, their date was interrupted when Kid Flash and The Rival got into another fight. Iris quickly bailed as soon as she found out about the scuffle, and Barry ran to the scene to see if he could help.

The Rival threw Kid Flash from a window into a dumpster and Barry unmasked Wally West then took Wally back to his lair. There they met up with Iris. In this universe Team Flash was made up of Iris and Wally.

Barry decided to help them fight The Rival, and they enlisted the help of Cisco Ramon, the owner of Ramon Industries and the richest man in America.

Barry explained the entire concept of “Flashpoint” to Cisco, Wally and Iris, telling him that he changed the timeline, but Iris seemed to be the only one that believed him.

Wally and Barry teamed up to face The Rival, and Barry tried to call the shots. He came up with a plan to take the speedster down, but Wally didn’t listen and he ended up getting stabbed through the gut by The Rival.

Barry took The Rival down after a pep talk from Iris, and as Barry was going to check on Wally, The Rival got up and tried to attack Barry one last time. Joe West appeared from the shadows and he saved Barry by shooting The Rival. Barry unmasked and revealed himself to Joe, then told him Wally needed help. They both checked on Wally then took him to Ramon Industries.

Earlier in the show Barry had kidnapped Caitlin Snow, who was an ophthalmologist in this timeline, and she checked on Wally who was laid up in a bed after being stabbed. Barry told her he should be healing because of his powers, and Caitlin said Wally was not healing.

That’s when Barry realized the impact that the “Flashpoint” universe was having on the people he cares about, and he decided to change things back to the way they were.

Throughout the show Barry was losing his memories, and he seemed to be getting weaker. Iris took him to meet up with the Reverse-Flash, and Barry asked him to kill his mother again in order to fix the timeline. Barry then set the Reverse-Flash free and the two tried to travel back in time.

As Barry was trying to leave he collapsed, Reverse-Flash picked him up and told him that this time, he gets to be the hero. They then went back in time and Reverse-Flash killed Barry Allen’s mother.

Reverse-Flash then took Barry to his doorstep, and then he hinted to Barry that not everything will be the same for him before taking off.

Barry walked in the door to find Joe and Wally drinking beers, and they asked him how he was handling the death of his father. Barry sat down and talked with them for a few minutes then asked where Iris is.

Joe and Wally got offended that he asked about Iris and Joe left. Wally questioned Barry as to why he would ask about Iris, saying that Barry already knows Joe and Iris don’t talk. An upset look then flashed on Barry’s face.

We then saw Edward Clariss who was The Rival in the “Flashpoint” timeline. He was awoken by a voice telling him he needed to get up. He then looked at a mirror which had the word “ALCHEMY” scratched into it to end the episode.

In the “Flashpoint” universe Wally West has fully developed speed powers, and judging from the footage we’ve seen so far, it seems to be clearly established that he’s the hero of Central City.

However, Wally West won’t be the only speedster we see in “Flashpoint” as he’ll have to deal with The Rival, a dark speedster who has become a thorn in Wally’s side.

The CW has released a new clip from “Flashpoint” and it shows a face to face meeting between Barry Allen and Kid Flash.

In the clip Barry is chasing two speedsters when he catches up to them just in time for an action packed confrontation. Barry finds himself in the line of fire and you can see how it all goes down in the clip below.

The CW released some new photos featuring actor Keiynan Lonsdale in costume and they looked great. Now some new photos from “The Flash” set have surfaced and they show another glimpse at not just Kid Flash, but a new speedster as well.

Canadagraphs managed to capture what looks like a battle between Kid Flash and the unknown speedster and it judging from the last photo, it doesn’t end well for Wally West.

Here you see Wally in full costume filming what are believed to be his first public scenes as Kid Flash.

Although the new speedster’s identity has yet to be revealed, fans have already picked up on the fact that he looks similar to the New 52 Reverse-Flash and Black Racer.

“The Flash” will return for season 3 on the CW on Tuesday, October 4th.
