Next week on DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” the Legends are heading back to the Old West, and they’re going to be meeting up with their old friend Jonah Hex. The CW has released the official preview for next week’s episode which is titled “Outlaw Country” and you can check it out below.

You can also catch all of the heroes of DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” in the upcoming four part crossover which is set to air on the CW in just a few weeks.

STRENGTH AND WEAKNESS — The Legends are still reeling from the news that their time travel-nemesis is a speedster when they are alerted to an Aberration in the Old West. When the Legends arrive they find their old friend Jonah Hex (guest star Jonathan Schaech) in trouble with his arch-nemesis, Quentin Turnbull (guest star Jeff Fahey). The team soon discovers that they need to stop Turnbull and his gang from conquering the West and branding it his own lawless territory. To Hex’s surprise, Sara (Caity Lotz) is in charge and dispatches the team. Rory (Dominic Purcell) is ecstatic to be in the Wild West, but Sara makes Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) work with him to keep him on task, which is easier said than done. Meanwhile, Nate (Nick Zano), Ray (Brandon Routh) and Jax (Franz Drameh) try to infiltrate Turnball’s gang, but find themselves in a shootout leaving Nate’s confidence shaken. Victor Garber also stars. Cherie Nowlan directed the episode written by Matthew Maala & Chris Fedak.

Next week the Legends will be taking the Waverider back to the Old West in “Outlaw Country.”

The episode will feature the return of Jonathan Schaech as Jonah Hex, and according to the synopsis, the team will be trying to stop a gang from conquering the West.

The CW has released some new photos from the upcoming episode, and you can check them out below.

Jonah Hex Set To Appear In The DC’s ‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ Episode ‘The Magnificent Eight’

It was announced a few months ago that Johnathon Schaech had been cast in the role of Jonah Hex, and that he would be making an appearance on DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow.” Now the CW has released the official synopsis for an upcoming episode titled “The Magnificent Eight” which will feature the debut of Jonah Hex in the Arrowverse.

The synopsis for the episode reads as follows:

“When the team needs a place to hide out, Rip (Arthur Darvill) sets a course for the Old West. Upon arrival, they start a fight with a gang of outlaws, putting the small town in jeopardy. Luckily, an old friend of Rip’s, Jonah Hex (guest star Johnathon Schaech), steps in to save them.”

DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” is currently on a little break. The show will return next Thursday with the episode “Left Behind” on March 31. “The Magnificent Eight” is scheduled to air on the CW on April 13 at 8pm EST.

Johnathon Schaech has been hyping up the appearance on his Instagram page for months now. He’s been keeping fans updated on what’s going on and one of his most recent photos indicates that Jonah Hex will be stepping onboard the Waverider in “The Magnificent Eight.”
