TVLine recently revealed some new details about next week’s episode “Luck Be A Lady” and according to the report, Harry will be delivering some bad news.

“Harry shows up on our Earth this coming Tuesday bearing some bad news. And despite getting a very chilly welcome as a result, he thrusts himself into Team Flash’s latest case, eventually helping uncover a (literally) big clue in the brand-new metahumans mystery.”

It will certainly be nice to have Wells back on the show, and it also sounds like we’re going to be finding out more about The Thinker’s plan, which is obviously tied to the brand new metahumans that are arriving in Central City.

“Luck Be A Lady” will air Tuesday, October 24 on the CW.

“DC COMICS’ CHARACTER HAZARD COMES TO PLAY IN CENTRAL CITY – Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team are hit by a string of bad luck and realize it is the handiwork of a new meta, Becky (guest star Sugar-Lyn Beard) nicknamed Hazard, who has the ability to give others bad luck, while cashing in the benefits for herself. Meanwhile, Harry Wells (Tom Cavanagh) returns to Earth-1 to give Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) a message from Jesse. Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode written by Sam Chalsen & Judalina Neira (#403). Team Flash has had bad luck with people claiming to be Harrison Wells in the past, so they were immediately suspicious of him when he arrived. During this week’s episode of “The Flash” titled “Monster” it was clear that this version of Wells wasn’t everything he claimed to be.

While working with Team Flash on missions, he stumbled over his words and struggled to help them find solutions to their problem. In short, he wasn’t contributing much of anything to the team.

Due to his strange behavior Cisco and Barry decided to investigate. Cisco went through his bag and found a recording that revealed he was trying to win over Cisco’s trust. After Harry caught them he told them to finish playing the recording. Cisco played it, and it was revealed that H.R. Wells is an author who came to Earth-1 to write a book.

He continued to claim he was a scientist and a big part of S.T.A.R. Labs on his Earth. Later he revealed that he only thinks of himself as a scientist.

On his Earth he only came up with ideas for things, he doesn’t actually know much about science, or how to implement his ideas.

He told Team Flash that he was the face of S.T.A.R. Labs on his Earth, and when people found out the truth, they turned against him. Wells added that he wants to write a book, and help the team as a way to redeem himself.

Barry told him that he could stay on a trial basis, but if he doesn’t work out he must return to his earth.

The CW has released a new synopsis for the third episode of the upcoming season titled “Magenta” and it confirms the return of Wells and Quick and also confirms that Jesse Quick has been using her powers on Earth-2. You can check out the synopsis below.

EARTH-2 WELLS AND JESSE RETURN TO CENTRAL CITY — Barry (Grant Gustin) and Team Flash are thrilled to reunite with Earth-2 Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and Jesse (guest star Violett Beane). Wells confides to Barry and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) that Jesse has all the powers of a speedster and has been saving people on his Earth. He is concerned about her safety and wants them to talk her out of using her powers. Meanwhile, Magenta, (guest star Joey King) a new meta who can control metal, terrorizes the city. Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode written by Judalina Neira & David Kob (FLA303). Original airdate 10/18/2016.

“The Flash” will return for season 3 on Tuesday, October 4.
