Margot Robbie is set to team up with “Suicide Squad director David Ayer once again for Gotham City Sirens. So far Margot Robbie is the only star confirmed for the film, but it’s rumored that Megan Fox is being considered for the role of Poison Ivy.

Hot off the “Gotham City Sirens” reveal, a rumor regarding Megan Fox’s possible involvement is making the rounds on the internet. Bleeding Cool reports that Megan Fox has been ordering Harley Quinn comic books, specific issues that explore Harley’s relationship with Poison Ivy, and she’s been having them sent to her Warner Bros. address.

Megan Fox has expressed interest in playing Poison Ivy in the past, but of course at this point in time, Megan Fox’s involvement with the film is far from confirmed.

Still, where there’s smoke there’s fire, and now a lot of people are talking about the possibility of Megan Fox stepping into the role, and artist Bosslogic has given us a visual preview of what Fox could look like as Poison Ivy. Check it out below.

A few months ago it was reported that Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn would be part of a female fronted DC film, and now the film has moved one step closer to becoming a reality.

The Wrap is reporting that Christina Hodson has signed on to write the script for the film. Hodson recently worked on the script for the upcoming Transformers spinoff that’s set to focus on Bumblebee, and she also written a script for a reboot of “The Fugitive” for Warner Bros.

Luckily for DC fans, Harley Quinn won’t be the only popular character in the film.

The film is set to focus on a few of DC’s fan favorite female heroes, and it could also possibly feature some female villains as well.

As of right now Warner Bros. has yet to comment, so it remains to be seen when the film may go into production.

Everyone seems thrilled about the idea of Harley Quinn joining the “Gotham” cast, and that includes Poison Ivy actress Maggie Geha. Maggie recently spoke out about the possibility of Harley making an appearance on the show and she loves the idea.

“I would love, love, love, love to see Harley Quinn,” Geha confessed to IGN. “In the comics she and Ivy and Harley Quinn are very close. In fact, I’m pretty sure in the comics they just formally announced that they’re girlfriends. Just as an actor I would love it for them to bring Harley Quinn onto the show. I would love that. I hope they do one day. That would be great. It would be so much fun for me.”

In “Gotham” season three we will be seeing a much more evolved version of Poison Ivy as it was revealed in the official synopsis that Ivy has been “reborn” after an encounter with a monster from Indian Hill.

“Gotham” will return for season three on September 19th.

All of the stars from the film were in attendance, as was “Suicide Squad” director David Ayer. The director introduced the film, much to the delight of DC fans and it seems that everyone got caught up in the moment.

If you’re a DC or Marvel fan then you’re probably well aware that there’s always been a bit of a rivalry between the two brands, and fans like to take it to the next level sometimes.

As David Ayer was introducing the film at the Beacon Theatre fans started shouting “F**k Marvel” and Ayer joined in by repeating those two little words. It looks like Ayer was just having a little fun though as he apologized on Twitter shortly after the video clip of him saying “F**k Marvel” went viral.

“Harley is creepy, violent, crazy — all of the things that I aspire to be! No. It’s the fun of living vicariously through someone who is doing things that I would never do in real life.”

She also seems pretty thrilled about the fact that she got to work with Will Smith, who plays Deadshot in the film.

“I enjoyed working with Will so, so much that I was overjoyed when I heard that we would be working together again. I actually texted him when I heard he was in negotiations to be in Suicide Squad and kept peer-pressuring him, ‘You’d better be taking this movie!’ He obviously signed on for his own reasons, but I was so incredibly happy that we got to do Round Two. He’s awesome on set and awesome off set. He’s just a really, really good person.”

“Suicide Squad” opens everywhere on August 5, 2016.
