“Avengers: Infinity War” will be the culmination of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and there’s no doubt that the film will feature some of the most epic fight sequences in the history of Marvel Studios.

Dave Bautista plays Drax in “Guardians of the Galaxy” and his interpretation of the character has become a favorite among fans. In the first film Drax was hellbent on avenging his family, and after he came to the conclusion that Ronan was nothing more than a puppet, he made it clear that he wants to kill Thanos.

Dave Bautista still wants to see Drax and Thanos battle one on one and he told Screen Rant that he’s hoping it happens.

“Personally I’d love to see him go head to head with Thanos. I’d love to see that. I’ve always been a proponent for that. You now, they’re just really brilliant about their writing. James Gunn has so much, well, he’ll have complete creative control over Guardians 3 and he has tons of input as far as Guardians go on in Infinity War, so I just trust in him, man. I do completely.”

Of course Drax has killed Thanos in the comics, but it remains to be seen if he’ll be killing him in the MCU.

We’ll just have to wait and see, but hopefully Dave Bautista gets his wish.

As you probably noticed from watching the trailer, it’s got humor, action and romance, but it doesn’t reveal any details in regards to the plot. Director James Gunn recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter and he noted that plot details are being left out for now because they don’t want to give much away.

“We were talking about how much to give away — and we’re not going to give away very much. With Guardians, it’s such an emotional and physical journey, going to all these different places. It’s like, ‘God, do I really want to show this planet we go to in the middle of the movie? Those are always hard choices to make.”

There’s a lot of hype behind the sequel and it will expand on the world of “Guardians” by adding new characters. One of the new characters who will be joining the cast is Mantis who will be played by actress Pom Klementieff.

“She has never really experienced social interaction,” says executive producer Jonathan Schwartz. “Everything she learns about dealing with people, she learns from the Guardians of the Galaxy, which is a very weird group to learn your social intricacies from.”

Unfortunately Gunn didn’t provide any details regarding who Kurt Russell will be playing so his role remains a mystery. He also noted that Chris Sullivan, Elizabeth Debicki and Pom Klementieff have joined the cast as well. He confirmed that Pom will be playing Mantis.

But casting announcements weren’t the only thing revealed today. James Gunn also shared a new teaser image along with the news that principal photography on the film started today.

As Robert mentions in the description the Suicide Squad and the Guardians of the Galaxy are two unlikely groups of heroes. The similar theme makes for a pretty solid DC/Marvel mashup. Check it out below.
