Luna recently spoke to EW about the origin story, and he noted that it will take a new angle while drawing from the source material.

“I can definitely say that there’s some wonderful elements of Felipe Smith’s original origin story mixed in with this new angle that we’re approaching from, but that new angle still draws from the source material. It still draws from this really, really great moment in the latter half of that first run of the All-New Ghost Rider that I won’t say too much about. The way that we fuse these two elements of the existing story together and to this moment, this origin story moment, is pretty phenomenal. We went all out trying to do it justice in terms of the stunts, the effects, the CGI. Everything that was put into this episode is just phenomenal.”

Marvel has also released a new clip from “The Good Samaritan” which shows Robbie having a conversation with his younger brother as he talks him into going racing with him. Check it out below.

Gabriel Luna will be playing Robbie Reyes on the show and Chloe Bennet recently spoke to IGN about what it’s been like for Ghost Rider to be a part of the show so far.

“It’s exciting! I was curious. It is always a little scary and you want everything to work well, but Gabriel is wonderful and fits in perfectly with the cast and I’m excited to see where they go with it. All the powers so far have been really rooted in something that Fitz and Simmons can always explain. I’m curious to see how they tie in a flaming head/skull on fire, and how they explain that with science.”

At the end of season 4 Daisy had gone rogue and her former S.H.I.E.L.D. teammates were searching for her. Daisy’s powers were a big part of season 3 as she continued to develop them and Coulson tried to keep them in check.

Chloe Bennet confirmed that we will see an evolution of Daisy’s powers in season 4, but that it will come with a cost.

“Definitely. I think we see that at the end of the season with her ability to kind of leap or fly. And so she’s become even more powerful. But that doesn’t come without a cost. I think you’ll see right away the repercussions of her powers not being monitored by SHIELD and you really see how SHIELD is necessary for people with powers.”

Marvel’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” will return for season 4 on ABC on Tuesday September 20th.
