Ridley and Hamill announced that the “Star Wars: Force For Change” campaign will be teaming up with Omaze, Unicef and Starlight for a fundraising initiative, and fans who donate have a chance to win some really awesome prizes.

The prizes include an overnight stay at Skywalker Ranch, a chance to appear in the upcoming Han Solo film, and a trip to join the cast at the “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” premiere in Los Angeles.

Anyone who donates is eligible to win the big prizes, but there are other perks as well. Different donation amounts come with different prizes ranging from $100 for some Star Wars related t-shirts, to $1,000 for a X-Wing motorcycle helmet, all the way up to $50,000 for a private screening of “The Last Jedi.”

Star Wars fans around the world have their own theories as to who Rey’s parents may be, but according to Daisy Ridley, there are answers in “The Force Awakens.” Ridley recently spoke to Time Out about her new film “The Eagle Huntress” and she revealed that she has a very different perspective on the film.

“I thought a lot was answered in “The Force Awakens”,” she said. “Then after the screening I went for a drink with my agent and everyone, and we were chatting away and I realised that oh, in their minds it’s not answered at all!”

Daisy Ridley also noted that people are constantly asking her if Rey is Luke Skywalker’s daughter, but she’s not quite ready to give up the answers just yet. Fans will still have to wait another year until “Episode VIII” hits theaters. However, Daisy Ridley teased that when fans finally get the answer, they will likely just end up asking more questions.

“I’d love to see the look on people’s faces,” she says. “But with answers come more questions, and there’s definitely going to be enough to keep people going for another two years!”

“Star Wars: Episode VIII” is set to hit theaters on December 15, 2017.

In “The Force Awakens” there were several very obvious hints that Rey is Force sensitive and most likely a Jedi. Despite the evidence Ridley played it cool when asked about her Force powers.

“I don’t know if I am a Jedi… I don’t think I am.” Ridley told MTV. “We’ve had this debate as to whether Leia is because she uses her Force powers. Just because she’s not like, oh I’m going on an adventure like Luke doesn’t make her any less Forceful.”

Of course her powers aren’t the only thing people are asking about. One of the biggest things we still don’t know about Rey is who her parents are. Everyone’s got a theory. Some people think she’s Luke Skywalker’s daughter, some think she’s Han Solo’s. Others think she may be a relative of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s, and the list goes on and on.

Recently Lucasfilm release a new trailer for “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” and the character Jyn Erso is very much the focus of the clip. Fans have now come up with a theory that Jyn may be Rey’s mother, but Daisy Ridley isn’t buying it.

“I’m not being funny you guys, but just because she’s white and got brown hair… it doesn’t mean she’s my mom. I think the amazing thing about [Episode VII] is that Finn and Rey don’t come from anywhere, and they find a place. So to me, it’s funny that people think it’s so important because I don’t really think it is.”

Rey will return to the big screen when “Star Wars: Episode VIII” hits theaters on December 15, 2017.

Umberto Gonzalez of Heroic Hollywood says he received a tip claiming the event film is the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot movie. It’s noted that the film will likely be called The Tomb Raider and that Warner Bros. recently registered the domain name www.thetombraidermovie.com. It was also mentioned that the producers have a script that they like and they’re hoping to schedule Daisy Ridley for a shoot this fall.

It was rumored for months that the studio was considering Daisy Ridley for the role of Lara Croft and Ridley recently confirmed that she’s had talks about possible playing the video game heroine.

“I’m waiting for someone to say ‘I want you, let’s do it’,” Ridley told THR at the Empire Awards next month.

Daisy Ridley did also confirm while speaking to THR that the shoot that was discussed for the Tomb Raider film would fit her schedule. If this report is true about the 2017 release date, expect a casting announcement sooner than later.

“I’m waiting for someone to say ‘I want you, let’s do it’,” Ridley told The Hollywood Reporter when asked about possibly taking on the role. It’s hard not to want the same thing, especially after seeing that picture. There’s no denying it, she’s perfect for this role.

We’ll just have to wait and see if Daisy Ridley gets cast as Lara Croft. But until then we can look forward to seeing her reprise her role as Rey in the still untitled “Star Wars: Episode: VIII” which is currently in production and set to hit theaters on December 17, 2017.

Daisy spoke to The Hollywood Reporter at the Empire Awards in London and she said that there “have been conversations” about her stepping into the role.

“I’m waiting for someone to say ‘I want you, let’s do it’,” Ridley said. She also added that at this point in time the movie doesn’t have a script yet.

The “Tomb Raider” video game franchise was successfully rebooted a few years ago and now Hollywood is trying to do the same thing with the film franchise. But before the ball gets rolling, someone is going to have to step up and play Lara Croft. Daisy Ridley’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” co-star John Boyega thinks that she’s the perfect choice to carry the torch.

“I texted Daisy [and] was like, ‘this is you!’ and ‘you need to get on that because you could be Lara Croft.’ She should be.” Boyega told THR.

Well, it’s hard to disagree with him. Ridley did wonders with the role of Rey in “The Force Awakens” and casting her in the role would definitely create a buzz around the film. Taking on another potential franchise would certainly be a challenge, but Daisy is definitely up for it as she told THR that she’s hoping to fill up her schedule.

Daisy expressed a lot of enthusiasm about working with Mark Hamill. As most of us know by now (and if you don’t spoiler) Luke Skywalker only made a brief appearance in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” Daisy spoke to MTV on the red carpet and judging from her comments it seems that Luke will have a much bigger role this time around.

“It’s such a good story. Seriously. Luke is so cool in this one.” Daisy said.

When we last left Daisy and Mark, Rey had met up with Luke at an ancient Jedi temple. Daisy also indicated that the opening of “Episode VIII” will pick up right where the ending of “The Force Awakens” left off.

“When we went back to Skellig to do the opening of ‘[Episode] VIII,’ it was so crazy doing the same scene with a different crew of people. He’s amazing to rehearse with, and I’m very excited to be doing the rest of the stuff.” Ridley added.

Daisy Ridley really stepped it up in “The Force Awakens” and she had a lot of chemistry with the fan favorite character Han Solo. It should be interesting to see what the dynamic is like between her and Luke Skywalker. And it should be interesting to see if we get any more hints about whether or not Luke is or isn’t Rey’s father.
