When we last left the team it was down to just Felicity and Oliver Queen. It was made very clear in the first trailer for “Arrow” season 5 that Oliver will be recruiting a new team when the show returns and it looks like we’ll be seeing some new faces join the ranks of Team Arrow.

The thought of new members joining the team is certainly exciting, but it looks like there’s a possibility that we might also be seeing a familiar face next season.

Echo Kellum posted some photos on Snapchat showing that Colton Haynes was recently on the set of “Arrow.” Haynes of course has played Roy Harper/Arsenal in quite a few episodes of the show, but he stepped away during season 3 due to personal reasons.

It remains to be seen if Colton Haynes will be suiting up again, but he is set to make a guest appearance during “Arrow” season 5. It’s possible that he was just on set visiting friends, but if he was indeed on the set to film some scenes it’s likely that we’ll be seeing Roy Harper early on in the season.

“I asked to step away because I cared more about my mental and physical health than my career at the time,” Haynes told EW. “I’ve had terminal anxiety my entire life. Physically ill, fainting. I’m 27 years old, and I have an ulcer. I had to step back.”

Back in January Colton Haynes received some unwanted attention after he responded to a Tumblr post about his past. A Tumblr user said that were excited to hear about his “secret gay past” and he responded by saying “Was it a secret?” Haynes told EW that many people in his life know that he’s gay and they have for many years. But he went on to say that he wasn’t ready to make it public knowledge yet.

“It was a complete shock. I wasn’t ready to be back in the headlines. I should have made a comment or a statement, but I just wasn’t ready.” Haynes said.

Haynes added that he felt like he was letting people down by not making some sort of official announcement. It was also noted that he had checked into rehab for anxiety and he spent the next few months in and out of the hospital.

Things seem to be going much better for Haynes now as he says he wants to get into movies, music, photography and more. He even revealed that he’s starting his own clothing line.

Don’t worry “Arrow” fans, Colton hasn’t forgotten about the show. Haynes returned to “Arrow” for an appearance in Season 4, and he says he’s down to do more if they’ll have him.

“Working for Greg was the greatest experience of my life, and when he offered me Arrow, it was a new beginning for me. I would love to do more. They know I love them. I’d go back in a second.”
