The “Arrow” season 5 finale is coming up in just a few weeks, and the finale is set to match up with the pilot episode and the last 5 years of Oliver Queen’s crusade will come full circle.
The season finale is titled “Lian Yu” which as you can probably already tell means that Oliver will be returning to the island, but we don’t know why he’s returning. Stephen Amell recently told Entertainment Weekly that the reason why Oliver returns will surprise the fans, and he also teased some other surprises for Oliver’s return to Lian Yu.
“One of the things that will surprise us is why he goes and the amount of people who will be there. This whole year has been built around Oliver returning on a team, but what happens when Oliver’s team isn’t there for him and he still needs a team?”
Regardless of why Oliver Queen returns to Lian Yu, the season finale is shaping up to be the biggest finale so far with Deathstroke, Black Siren, Nyssa al Ghul and Talia al Ghul set to appear.
“Arrow” will return next week on Wednesday with “Underneath.”
