When “Arrow” first kicked off, it was in a universe of its own, but that universe has since expanded to include iconic DC characters such as The Flash, Supergirl and even Superman.
Superman first made his “Arrowverse” debut in “Supergirl” season 2 where he was played by Tyler Hoechlin.
Unfortunately Superman has been left out of the crossovers so far, but during a recent panel at Motor City Comic Con, Stephen Amell was asked which character he wants to do a crossover with, and he named the Man of Steel.
“Superman.” Amell explained via Comicbook.com. “I thought that Tyler did a great job, and I had an opportunity to fangirl over [Smallville star] Tom Welling. I would love for Oliver and Clark to eventually meet. I think that that would be incredible.”
Right now it doesn’t seem that there are any plans in place for Superman to interact with the rest of the DC characters on the CW but as we’ve so far, anything can happen in the “Arrowverse.”
It was recently confirmed that Batwoman and Gotham City will be a part of the annual four way crossover, so hopefully we’ll be seeing Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman in the mix sooner than later.
