Stephen Amell’s training sessions have become somewhat notorious thanks to the fact that he commonly shares videos of the sessions on social media. For years now the “Arrow” star has been teasing that his training may lead to an appearance on “American Ninja Warrior” and now he’s finally set to take the plunge.

Back in February a fan called him out during Salt Lake Comic Con and asked him when he would be making an appearance on the show, and he said that he would reach out the producers of the show and let them know he wants to compete in 2017. Apparently he got the response he wanted.
Not only did Stephen Amell confirm that he will be competing on the show, he also confirmed that he will be training with the “mighty” Kacy Catanzaro. The episode featuring Stephen is set to air on May 25th, which is only one day after the “Arrow” season 5 finale, so set your DVR accordingly.
