According to The Wrap, Ryan Reynolds recently shot a scene as Deadpool for Hugh Jackman’s final Wolverine film which is set to be released next year. “Deadpool 2” director David Leitch filmed the scene, and a source with knowledge of the situation noted that it will likely be some type of post-credit scene.

It should be interesting to see what the scene entails and if there will even be any interaction between Wolverine and Deadpool. Fox clearly has big plans for Deadpool in the future, so it’s always possible that the scene could be used to tease his next movie, which is expected to be released in 2018.

Hugh Jackman has declared that he’s hanging up the claws after “Logan” and that he won’t be returning to the role. Ryan Reynolds on the other hand still has dreams of making a Deadpool/Wolverine film and he joked during a recent interview that he might need some help from the internet when it comes to convincing Hugh to do it.

“Logan” is set to hit theaters on March 3, 2017.

In 2024, mutant births are severely in decline, and people aren’t sure why. A government-type operation is turning mutant children into killing machines. From this, Logan emerges as a mentor to a mutant girl, who has two claws instead of his three.
