Anticipation for “Daredevil” season 2 is at an all time high right now because fans can’t wait to see Jon Bernthal’s Punisher. We’ve seen photos and glimpses of him in the teasers. But now we finally get to see Frank Castle in action and it does not disappoint.
We see a lot of new footage containing shots of Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle and he looks brutal and broken. The entire trailer is focused on The Punisher and the impact he’s having on Hell’s Kitchen. He’s certainly on Matt Murdock’s mind as Daredevil makes it his mission to pursue The Punisher. Eventually he finds him.
Toward the end of the trailer we get to hear a conversation between Daredevil and The Punisher. The dialogue highlights the biggest differences between the characters as Daredevil tells The Punisher: “People don’t have to die.” Punisher responds by saying: “You hit them and they get back up, I hit them and they stay down.”
We see several shots of The Punisher and Daredevil battling before The Punisher tells Matt Murdock: “You’re one bad day away from being me.”
