After months of anticipation the first official trailer for “Logan” was finally released last week. The trailer showed a bleak look at an aging Logan whose healing powers are diminishing. The trailer tugged at the heartstrings of X-Men fans around the world, with a little assist from Johnny Cash.

“Logan” will be the last time that Hugh Jackman plays Wolverine on the big screen so it will truly be the end of an era. Jackman’s portrayal of Wolverine has become iconic in its own right, but once Hugh Jackman steps down Wolverine will live on as he always has.
Although Hugh Jackman is the only man to play Wolverine on the big screen, Wolverine has made many animated appearances on the small screen. Without a doubt one of the most popular animated interpretations when it comes to Wolverine is the one fans saw in “X-Men: The Animated Series” and now that version of Wolverine is getting the “Logan” treatment.
A creative YouTuber going by the name of phillysteak took the “Logan” trailer and mashed it up with clips from “X-Men: The Animated Series” along with some X-23 clips from “X-Men: Evolution” and it’s absolutely perfect.
