It looks like neither Krysten Ritter or Melissa Benoist got the memo about the DC/Marvel rivalry. Ritter took to Instagram yesterday to show support for her friend Melissa Benoist and her show “Supergirl.” It turns out that Ritter has known Melissa since she first arrived in LA. She had some nice things to say about Melissa Benoist and her role as Supergirl. Check it out below.

I met her early on when I was casting a show that I was producing and it was clear even then, fresh off the boat, that she was poised to be a big star. I’m so proud and happy for her for landing a part that she totally shines in. Funny, strong, adorable, and radiant! Congrats fellow superhero lady! Much love!”
Of course Supergirl herself had to return the gesture and show some support for Ritter. She responded with the following:
