It’s been a big year so far for Marvel shows on Netflix. The first season of “Iron Fist” was released, and now fans are anxiously awaiting the release of “The Defenders” which is set to arrive on the streaming service on August 18.
“Jessica Jones” season 2 is also in production, and it looks like fans will be seeing a very familiar face when the show returns. EW has confirmed that David Tenant will be reprising his role as Kilgrave in season 2.
How is this possible you ask? Well, as we all saw in the season 1 finale, Jessica Jones seemingly ended Kilgrave’s life, but this is a comic book show after all, and characters do come back from the dead quite often on comic book shows.
The details of his return are being kept under wraps, but it’s also possible that Kilgrave could be appearing in some sort of flashback scene.
We’ll find out for sure when “Jessica Jones” season 2 arrives on Netflix in January of 2018.
