Last year fans were treated to an epic four way crossover event when the CW brought the heroes of the “Arrowverse” together for “Invasion!” The crossover was unanimously praised by fans of the shows and we’ll be seeing another crossover in a few weeks when characters from “Supergirl” team up with characters from “The Flash” for a musical episode.
It’s already been confirmed that Music Meister will be the villain but details regarding the plot of the crossover have not been made available. Although much of the plot remains a mystery at this point, “Supergirl” co-showrunner Aaron Helbing recently told TV Line that the episode will focus on Iris West.
“She plays a pretty key role in the musical episode. The story really centers around Iris,” co-showrunner Aaron Helbing told TV Line. “Aside from Barry and Kara, Iris plays a huge role in the musical.”
“The Flash” season 3 has mostly focused on Team Flash trying to prevent the death of Iris West, so it’s not hard to see how she could have a big impact on the story for the musical crossover episode.
