Business is about to pick up for “Arrow” as the show is set to return this week for the midseason premiere. When we last left Team Arrow, it wasn’t much of a team at all, as Mister Terrific, Black Canary and Wild Dog are no longer a part of it.
Now it’s down to Oliver, Felicity and Diggle, so original Team Arrow is back in play. However, Mister Terrific, Black Canary and Wild Dog don’t plan to sit on the sidelines, as they will be forming their own team to battle Cayden James and the other villains threatening Star City.
Even though Oliver and his former teammates seem to have the same goal, it doesn’t look like they’re going to be on the same page at all when the show returns.
The CW has released a new trailer for the midseason premiere, and it shows Green Arrow facing off against Wild Dog, and restraining Black Canary after she gets in his way.
It doesn’t look like the rift between original Team Arrow and new Team Arrow will be fixed anytime soon, but regardless the tension is going to make for some interesting situations.
“Arrow” will return on Thursday, January 18, and you can check out the new trailer below.
