The Flash Season 3: Wally West Will Have Visions Of Himself As Kid Flash In “Shade”

When “The Flash” season 3 kicked off, it kicked off with “Flashpoint.” Picking up a few months after the season 2 finale, Barry Allen was living in an alternate timeline where his parents were still alive, and Wally West was Kid Flash.

In the alternate timeline Barry and Wally teamed up to take on the Rival, and Wally was wounded during the battle. Barry then decided to try and set things right after he realized that his quest for happiness was having a negative effect on the people he cares about.

Wally West is not Kid Flash in the current timeline, and that seems to be a big issue for Wally. Both he and Jesse Quick were hit by a speed force wave last season, but so far only Jesse has developed powers.

It’s obvious that Wally wants to be a speedster and get in on the action, and it doesn’t sound like that desire is going to go away anytime soon. The CW has released the official synopsis for the upcoming episode “Shade” and it reveals that Wally will have vision of himself as Kid Flash in the “Flashpoint” universe.

WALLY HAS VISIONS OF BEING KID FLASH — When Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) starts having dreams about being Kid Flash, Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes he has to tell Wally, Iris (Candice Patton) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) about what happened to Wally in Flashpoint in order to keep him safe. JJ Makaro directed the episode written by Emily Silver & David Kob.

“The Flash” will return next week with “Monster.”
