After months and months of anticipation the title for the next Wolverine film was finally confirmed this week. Hugh Jackman has made it well known that he will be hanging up the claws after this outing, and yesterday he revealed that the film will be titled “Logan.”
Director James Mangold also shared a picture of the screenplay, and the page revealed that Wolverine’s healing factor is diminishing as he ages, and he’s turned to booze to deal with the pain.
The Wrap has also revealed some interesting details about the film. According to the report “Logan” will take place in the year 2024. Professor X is old and in poor health, his mind isn’t what it used to be, and somedays he doesn’t even remember who Logan is. Logan is looking after Professor X with the help of Caliban who will be played by Stephen Merchant.
