This week’s episode of “The Flash” was one of the most intense episodes so far, and the moment fans had been dreading all season long finally happened. Savitar finally executed his plan, and next week he will face off with The Flash in one final epic battle.
Barry and the other members of Team Flash have struggled to find ways to defeat Savitar because he seems to be one step ahead of them at all times. Savitar is a time remnant of Barry after all, so he knows every move he’s going to make before he makes it.
At this point it’s tough to imagine what it’s going to take to finally defeat this season’s big bad, and “The Flash” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg says that the battle won’t be what fans are expecting.
“There will be an ultimate showdown with Savitar in the finale, but their [battle] isn’t probably quite what you’re expecting,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told EW. “Just because [Savitar] is a version of Barry, it doesn’t play out exactly as people would expect.”
“The Flash” season 3 finale will air on Tuesday, May 23rd on the CW.
