A few months ago during an interview with Entertainment Tonight Danielle Panabaker noted that she wanted a new suit, and it looks like she got her wish.

“I want a new suit. The Season 4 suit was different than the Season 3 suit and I want a new suit, absolutely. Killer Frost is a little bit like Vibe in that she, and like most of the superheroes, that she has to go somewhere to put her suit on, Flash has to put her suit on. So, I’m excited to see what her suit looks like whenever she gets it.”

“The Flash” season 6 is set to premiere on the CW on October 8.

It doesn’t look like the CW has any plans to slow down the momentum that shows such as “Arrow” and “The Flash” have built over the last few years, and a few other CW favorites will be returning on the fall as well.

It’s been confirmed that the following shows will return for new seasons:

DC’S Legends of Tomorrow (Season 5)
Dynasty (Season 3)
The Flash (Season 6)
Riverdale (Season 4)
Supergirl (Season 5)
Supernatural (Season 15)

CW President Mark Pedowitz confirmed the new seasons at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena on Thursday, and also noted that more announcements will be coming in May.

“This season, we expanded our primetime schedule to six nights with the addition of Sunday — which has been an unqualified success for the network, our affiliates and our advertisers. In addition to growing our schedule across the week, we also continue to add more year-round programming. The early renewal of these signature CW series gives us a head start on laying out the 2019-2020 season, and this is just the beginning,” said Pedowitz. “These shows provide a strong foundation for our multiplatform programming strategy, and we look forward to building on this with even more returning and new shows as we approach the May upfront.”

The episode which is titled “Seeing Red” will feature a face off between Nora and Cicada, and according to the official synopsis Nora will be seriously injured. The synopsis reads as follows:

“CICADA SEVERLY INJURES NORA

During a battle with Cicada (Chris Klein), Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) is severely injured. Due to Cicada’s dampening powers, Nora’s speed healing isn’t working, leaving Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton) scared for their daughter’s future. Upset about his injured child, The Flash is filled with rage and confronts Cicada in a brutal battle. Meanwhile, Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) keeps interfering with Caitlin’s work on the cure. Marcus Stokes directed the episode written by Judalina Neira & Thomas Pound.”

Marvel Studios will be expanding the MCU by adding X-Men characters who were previously unavailable for use due to Fox having the rights to the characters.

Fox’s X-Men film universe will be wrapping up, and it seems likely that Marvel Studios will be casting new actors to play their version of the X-Men.

James McAvoy has played Charles Xavier in several X-Men related films, but he recently explained to Yahoo why he’s unsure that the X-Men are a good fit for the MCU.

“I don’t know if the X-Men could go into the Marvel universe, I’m not sure. Maybe they could? But I think what’s different about the Avengers universe anyway is you’ve only got a couple of superheroes in the world. There’s a good amount, but there’s like a couple of football teams’ worth, you know what I mean? Whereas in the X-Men world you’re potentially saying there are hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of [superheroes] and the social implication of that is different.”

At this point it’s not clear how the X-Men will be integrated, how the existence of mutants will be explained in a film universe that’s been around for over a decade. But regardless of how it all plays out, most fans seem to agree that it will be exciting to see mutants and Avengers on the big screen someday.

The company announced today that subscription prices will increase anywhere from 13% to 18% depending on which plan you have. This is the biggest price increase since the company launched, and the increase will go into effect immediately for new subscribers. Existing customers will see a price increase on their bills over the next three months.

Netflix’s basic plan will jump from $8 to $9, with the HD standard plan going from $11 a month to $13. The premium plan which offers Ultra HD content is going from $14 to $16.

According to a spokesperson from Netflix, the price reason for the price increase is so the company can, “continue investing in great entertainment and improving the overall Netflix experience for the benefit of our members.”

Last quarter Netflix reported that the steaming service had 58 million U.S. subscribers, as well as more than 78 million subscribers outside the United States.

At the end of the episode Nora traveled to the future and met with Eobard Thawne, who was in prison, and fans learned that they’ve been working together.

It seems that there’s a lot more to this story that has yet to unfold, but showrunner Todd Helbing recently told TV Line that things are going to get dicey for Nora in an upcoming episode.

“Nora is working with Thawne, and after her experiences with Barry and Thawne in Episode 8, she certainly knows Barry’s reaction to Thawne. Now that she has a full understanding of their history, it makes it a little more complicated for her and Thawne in the future, and how she thinks her parents and everybody else on Team Flash would react to that [partnership]. It gets a little dicey for her, a little tricky, and in that episode (airing Jan. 29), there’s a situation that arises where Barry and Iris could learn [the truth], so Nora tries to keep that from happening. It’s a “schmience” trip that sort of goes awry.”

It seems that much of the focus will be on the true identity of the new Green Arrow in the season premiere, but the upcoming episode “Past Sins” will feature the return of three villains.

The CW has released the official synopsis for the episode, and it reveals that China White, Deathstroke’s son Kane Wolfman, and Cupid will all be making appearances.

The episode will also be the first episode of “Arrow” directed by David Ramsey who plays Diggle on the show.

The synopsis reads as follows:

“DAVID RAMSEY DIRECTS HIS FIRST EPISODE OF ARROW

The past comes back to haunt both Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy). Curtis (Echo Kellum) is upset when he discovers that Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) have restarted The Ghost Initiative with Diaz (guest star Kirk Acevedo), China White (guest star Kelly Hu), Kane Wolfman (guest star Liam Hall) and Carrie Cutter (guest star Amy Gumenick). David Ramsey directed the episode written by Onalee Hunter Hughes & Tonya Kong.”

“Past Sins” will air on January 28.

When we last left “Arrow” it was finally revealed that the new Green Arrow is none other than Oliver’s half sister, and now her name is on full display the episode title for the midseason premiere.

The CW had been advertising the episode title as “Shattered Lives” but it has since been changed to “My Name is Emiko Queen.”

According to the synopsis, Oliver will be tasked with tracking down the new Green Arrow in the episode, which means he’s in for a pretty big surprise.

The synopsis for the episode reads as follows:

“My Name is Emiko Queen” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

“OLIVER RETURNS TO HIS REGULAR LIFE IN STAR CITY — Oliver (Stephen Amell) is ready to get back to work with the SCPD and to focus on his marriage with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). However, when Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) tasks Oliver with tracking the new Green Arrow (Sea Shimooka) things take a surprising turn.
