DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” recently wrapped up its second season, and the most recent season was one to remember that’s for sure. After chasing Vandal Savage through time in season 1, the show doubled down on the time traveling craziness and just went full speed ahead in season 2.
Some of the locations that the Legends visited this season were a little ridiculous, but the show made no apologies for being over the top, and it worked.
The Justice Society of America was introduced at the beginning of the season, and Eobard Thawne, Malcolm Merlyn, Damien Darhk and eventually Captain Cold all came together to form the Legion of Doom. The Legends chased the Legion throughout time as both sides tried to get their hands on the Spear of Destiny, and we saw a few alternate versions of our favorite characters along the way.
DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” will return in the fall for season 3, but if you need to get your fix right now you can, because season 2 is officially on Netflix.
Caity Lotz tipped fans off on Tuesday when she posted the following on Facebook:
“Guess what guys? No, there’s no new episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow tonight, BUT season 2 will drop on Netflix at midnight! So if you missed any episodes or just want to recap all the madness, it’s binge time! Who’s your friend?”
This is all part of the deal that the CW signed with Netflix last year that will see new seasons of shows such as “Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Supergirl,” and “Legends” premiere on the streaming service only 2 weeks after they’ve wrapped up.
Although “Legends” may be gone until the fall, you can still tune in to the CW see what happens with “Supergirl” on Mondays, “The Flash” on Tuesdays, and “Arrow” on Wednesdays.
