DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” will be returning soon, and when the show does return John Constantine will be temporarily joining the team for a few episodes.
This isn’t Constantine’s first appearance in the “Arrowverse” as he previously appeared in “Arrow” season 4, but it will be his first time working with the Legends.
John Constantine does what he wants, and the cast members recently told Extra that he’ll be flirting with a few characters on the ship, including Citizen Cold.
“He was hitting on Wentworth’s character,” Dominic Purcell who plays Mick Rory said while acknowledging that it was “too much” for Rory to handle. “The scene is hysterical. We were all just on the floor laughing, so it’s all done in good fun.”
“There is quite a fun dynamic with Nate as well. He gets a little bit jealous,” Maisie Richardson Sellers who plays Amaya said. “So, I think just [Constantine’s] ballsy sort of energy and his skills that he has, Amaya definitely admires that, and loves the fact that he’s so gung-ho about everything. She looks up to him, definitely.”
This season has taken on more of an occult theme, and Tala Ashe noted that Constantine will be interested in Zari’s amulet.
“I think he’s going to be interested in the totems in general and what their meaning is, and he might be someone who can help with figuring out what that means.”
DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” will return on Monday, February 12.
“After Sara’s (Caity Lotz) encounter with Mallus, the Legends are paid a visit by John Constantine (guest star Matt Ryan), a demonologist detective. The Legends agree to accompany him to a present-day psychiatric hospital and they are surprised to discover who Constantine is trying to help. During the exorcism, Sara, Leo (guest star Wentworth Miller) and Constantine go missing, leaving Ray (Brandon Routh) and Zari (Tala Ashe) to try to take care of Constantine’s client. Meanwhile, Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Nate (Nick Zano) once again come face to face with Kuasa. Dominc Purcell also stars.”
