Barry Allen sacrificed himself to the Speed Force in “The Flash” season 3 finale, and now everyone’s wondering what direction the show will take next. There’s been a lot of speculation among fans that Wally West could pick up the mantle of The Flash in Barry’s absence.
Keiynan Lonsdale recently downplayed the speculation in an interview by saying switching suits isn’t something that’s on his radar right now.
“It’s not something that’s on my radar. I feel as though there is so much story to tell and Wally has so much growing to do. I’d like to see that journey continue. That’s what I think is important. We need to see how these character realistically get to where they are headed for.”
Even though Lonsdale has been downplaying the rumors, that hasn’t stopped some fans from wanting to see it happen.
Keiynan Lonsdale and Candice Patton are back to work on “The Flash” set, and Patton posted a picture of Lonsdale wearing red pants. Some fans apparently forgot that the Kid Flash costume has red pants, as they questioned whether or not the pants in the picture came from The Flash suit.

After fans started getting overexcited on social media, Candice Patton took to Twitter to remind everyone that Wally West has always worn red pants.
