John Constantine is set to join the Legends on DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” in a few weeks, and his debut on the show is highly anticipated. The showrunners have said that they’ve been trying to get Constantine on the show for a while and in the 10th episode of the season titled “Daddy Darhkest” it’s finally going to happen.
What will Constantine be doing on DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow”? Executive producer Phil Klemmer recently teased that he’ll be performing an exorcism.
“We get Billy Zane and the circus [in the second episode]; we get a little Julius Caesar on the beach in Aruba in the premiere. We meet [new team member] Zari in this sort of dystopian future. We get to do a little Amblin alien episode back in the ’80s; we do some Jack the Ripper Victorian London; Golden Age of Hollywood; John Constantine doing an exorcism. We do a Freaky Friday episode. The only thing we haven’t been able to do: We really wanted to do an Abba “Waterloo” in then Napoleonic wars but we could not get the rights for the song.”
Constantine is no stranger to the “Arrowverse” as he appeared on an episode of “Arrow” in season 4, but this will be the first time that we get to see him interact with characters on a different show within the universe.
One character who we know he’ll be interacting with is Ray Palmer, because executive producer Marc Guggenheim recently took to Twitter to share a behind the scenes photo showing them both on what appears to be the Waverider.
