This week “Arrow” season 6 will come to an end, and the show will be losing one cast member who has been there from the beginning. It’s already been confirmed that Paul Blackthorne won’t be returning for season 7, which means fans will be forced to say goodbye to Quentin Lance.

With Blackthorne leaving the show, fans have been left to wonder if Quentin Lance will survive the finale, but either way Paul recently told TV Line that the character will have a beautiful exit.

“It’s a beautiful exit, actually,” he added. “A very nice exit, as exits go!”

Quentin Lance will be missed, as he’s been an integral character since the very first episode. Over the years he’s worked closely with Katie Cassidy, but it appears that this is the end of the line for the Lance family duo.

“All those scenes with Katie [Cassidy], it was a lot of fun,” he continued. “We’ve had six years of playing all that stuff, and it’s been a real, real treat. It’s a shame to see that go, but it’s wonderful to be in this new place now.”

Blackthorne is the second cast member to leave this season, as Willa Holland who plays Thea also parted ways with the show. But luckily the cast will be gaining Colton Haynes who is set to return as a series regular for season 7.

The “Arrow” season finale titled “Life Sentence” will air Thursday night on the CW.

“With a new ally on his team, Oliver engages Diaz in an epic final battle.”
